Bill Morgan, PMP, is a senior project manager who has been a member of PMI since 1995. He achieved his PMP certification in 2003. Bill joined PMIWDC when he returned to the DC area in 2004. Over the years, Bill has managed PMOs and IT and functional projects for federal, commercial and international customers as diverse as USMS, DOJ, DOD, the Army Staff, the Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA; the IRS, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Banco Itau, the second largest private bank in Brazil.
Bill has taught project management as a consultant and is a current PMIWDC volunteer instructor for the PMP Prep course. Bill holds a master’s degree in Management from Webster University as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
He is a retired Army officer. He served in the Pentagon as a staff officer and held command and staff assignments in infantry, airborne, and special operations units.
