The PMIWDC George Patton Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship intended to assist PMIWDC chapter members in funding continuing education coursework. The scholarship awards a maximum of $2,000 to one or more applicants, twice per year. If you would like to apply for this scholarship, please follow the instructions below. If you would like assistance in funding academic coursework at a college or university, please apply for the Clayman C. Myers, Jr. Memorial Scholarship instead.
The Project Management Institute, Washington, D.C. Chapter, Inc. (PMIWDC) George Patton Memorial Scholarship Program is designed to financially assist chapter member applicants in obtaining:
- Contact hours for non-academic education in project management to qualify for the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam,
- Admission to a PMP or CAPM exam preparation course, or
- Professional Development Units (PDUs) required for maintaining PMP certification.
The scholarship is administered through PMI's Educational Foundation.
