This interactive session, led by Erika Flora, a Lead Editor and author of one of the ITIL 4 core books, will give you the latest and greatest details, including: what's changed, what's hasn’t, and how ITIL 4 impacts and enhances our work as Project and Program Managers. Erika is a Senior Advisor and Principal with BEYOND20. For more than 15 years, Erika has worked with global organizations to define and launch PMOs, provide Project Management training and coaching, and implement Enterprise Project Management platforms. She holds several Project Management certifications including PMP, PgMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Erika has a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Florida, served as an Adjunct Professor of Project Management at San Diego State University, volunteered as a PMI board member in Phoenix and San Diego, and is a skilled blogger and presenter. When she’s not at work or on social media (@erikaflora), you can find her performing with her indie improv team, Swoonface.

About the Monthly Dinner Meetings

The PMIWDC Monthly Dinner Meetings are held at the Sheraton Tysons (8661 Leesburg Pike, Tysons, VA 22182), typically on the third Tuesday of each month (subject to change due to holidays and venue/speaker availability). Members and non-members are welcome to join us for the best speakers and networking the Washington, DC area has to offer.

The presentations are educational and informative to those professionals operating in the field of project management and functioning in leadership roles in industry and government. It is also of great value to those looking to step into the field of Project Management and begin their certification process. Each event will present specific learning points focusing on building a talent triangle of technical, leadership, and strategic and business management skills, unique to the presenter's area of expertise and the subject matter discussed while directly relating to improving the practice of managing projects and leading others. At each Monthly Chapter Event certified PMPs can earn 1 Professional Development Unit (PDU).
