About the Speaker

Nathan J. Kerr MS, PMP

Nathan J. Kerr is a Project Management Professional who works with the general public, but especially Veterans to help them achieve their Project Management Professional certification and achieve success.
Nathan knows that most Veterans possess the hard and soft skills to achieve even greater success in the civilian workforce. In line with PMI thinking, Veterans have been project managers nearly their entire careers. With training and eventual certification, Veterans can prove their worth and succeed.
Nathan served over 22 years honorably in the military and has written extensive articles on military recruiting. Nathan started PMCertDC to train candidates in the Frederick, Hagerstown, and Rockville, MD area on project management. Nathan also focuses his efforts supporting transitioning service-members in the Military District of Washington which encompasses Fort Detrick, MD.
Nathan holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Leadership/ Business Intelligence & Analytics from Creighton, University in Omaha, NE.

About the Loudoun Community

PMIWDC is pleased to announce a new Community in Loudoun County: PMIWDC - LC! PMIWDC’s Loudoun luncheons are a series of free brown bag luncheons hosted at the REI Systems Headquarters, 45335 Vintage Park Plaza, Sterling, VA 20166, conveniently located near the intersection of Route 28 and Route 606, north of the Dulles Airport. The Loudoun Community Luncheons are held every second Monday of the month, unless posted otherwise. In the event of a holiday, the luncheon will be on the third Monday. (Pre-registration is recommended). PMIWDC – Loudoun Community’s goal is to provide members with a convenient forum for learning, discussion and knowledge exchange. The Luncheons will feature presentations by guest speakers who are PMI-recognized thought leaders, educators and Subject Matter Experts.
