Many government agencies are beginning to implement an Agile approach to Software Development. Does each agency, however, need to “reinvent the wheel” as they start or proceed on their Agile journey? Are there patterns or criteria that would increase your prospect for success? As a Scrum Master for an Agile Transformation team in a government agency, I have identified five patterns that will improve your outcome. This talk will discuss those five patterns.

About the Speakers

C. Ken Horton, Jr.

Mr. Horton serves as the Scrum Master on the Agile Transformation Team,
as well as for the Anti-Fraud initiative for a government agency. He has
provided training and mentoring to other Scrum Masters. Mr. Horton also
has experience as a Senior Business Analyst/Consultant for a government
agency, traveling throughout the United States to implement program
initiatives and provide training to major customers for this agency.

Certifications include:
Professional Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional, Certified Product
Owner, SAFe Agilist. Graduate Certificates in Information Security
Management, eDIscovery Project Management and Business Analysis.
