The classes are intended to help participants prepare for the PMP exam, and are taught by certified Project Management Professionals, who have years of practical project management experience. Those wishing to attend the classes should already have a background in project management fundamentals. The course will serve as a review for experienced project managers preparing for the PMP Exam. A continental breakfast, beverages and lunch will be provided each day.
This July 2018 PMP Prep class will based on the “Guide to the PMBOK 6th Edition” content and knowledge areas. The course instruction is taught by experts in the subject matter. The order of the topics to be presented may change.
All registered participants will receive the following printed documents:
- Hardcopy of all slides used in the class
- A Student Workbook with exercises and quizzes
- The Key Equation sheet
- "Key ITTO document” (Key Inputs-Tools & Techniques-Outputs)
- The Process Blueprint
Additionally, all registered participants will receive a softcopy (PDF copy) of our “Checklist document” with additional exercises.
All registered participants will receive 30 days of complimentary access to the Best Practices Training virtual PMP Prep website with more than 40 hours of video training (more than a four-day class), and more than 1,000 quiz questions.
All registered participants can also elect to purchase 90-day license to the PMTraining.com practice test website at a discounted price. The PMTraining.com website will have another 22 “final Mock tests” each with 50 questions each. The cost of this optional item is $45 per student.
The PMP exam is now based on Version Six of the PMBOK Guide as of March 26, 2018, reflecting significant change with the test from prior versions.
This course is intended to reduce the overall hours of study required to pass the PMP exam. Please register/qualify to take the exam by completing the PMI Global Operations Center (GOC) registration form available on the PMI website. After you receive notice from PMI GOC of your qualification to take the exam, Prometric will administer the PMP exam on a date and time you arrange. This can be done at any time of year and at a number of different sites. In addition, it is helpful to review PMI's PMP Certification Handbook for further guidance on preparing for the exam. Please see our PMP Exam FAQs for additional information.
