About the Seminar
If you are a PMP leader that is faced with supporting or seeking new business, you need to attend this seminar. How can you strike the right balance between delivering on existing customer commitments and positioning their company for future work in order to grow their business? This seminar unlocks some of the major challenges PMP leaders and emerging leaders face—helping them become more efficient and effective capture and proposal leaders while minimizing the impact on their day jobs.
Capture Support. PMPs are frequently unaware of the capture planning required to differentiate their company from the competition. Yet many PMPs are best positioned to assist the capture team assess the competition, conduct stakeholder analysis, and assist in executing call plans designed to collect valuable information and help win the bid. Chris reviews some of the capture planning basics with a focus on areas where PMPs can make the biggest contribution with a modest amount of effort.
Proposal Support. PMPs are often pressed into proposal writing duty when BD resources are tight, operations are slow, or subject matter expertise is required. Storyboarding, features, benefits, proof points, hot buttons, differentiators, and discriminators can be confusing, and make your head spin into the early morning hours. Chris helps you navigate through the proposal gobbledygook and provides some practical suggestions for how to provide the input proposal teams need without having to burn the midnight oil.
Social Media and Communication Tools. New technologies and new communication channels have made their way into the mainstream over past decade. With so many options, PMP leaders struggle to determine which communication channels to use and how to use them. Chris outlines some communication etiquette basics and best practices for how to use the right communication tools and when, without being overwhelmed.
Presentation Development and Delivery. Standing up in front of people and delivering a compelling presentation to a boss, a peer group, a customer, or a prospect is a terrifying thought for most. PMPs are no exception. Chris shares some real live examples from his presentation coaching experience on how to design and deliver compelling presentations with inspiration from presentation design and development thought leaders.
