About the Program
What happens when you inject a little humor into a project? Or prepare an introductory funny story for a meeting you know is going to be tense? Or you just realize that you’re not the first PM to go through the wringer or get stuck a specific situation?
PMI defines project management as “the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements,” which sounds very sterile and boring. Anyone who has ever completed a project knows that project management can be anything but! Speaker Randy Comer offers that projects don’t always have to be a series of dull, drab, serious activities, just to be checked off, instead they can be a source of humor, growth and personal lessons learned. Randy takes a look at projects of the past and uses an engaging, light hearted speaking style to offer current PMs a way to create their own growth and a little humor, to help get though those tough jams. “Project Management Lessons Learned through Quips, Quotes, Anecdotes and Stories” will bring you forward into a place where you can enjoy your projects, your associates and yourself all in a day’s work.
