About the Program

This session will address how to identify, plan, collect and analyze metrics to measure performance and guide continual improvement efforts and will help attendees understand how to establish and maintain the linkage between business goals, objectives, performance indicators and controllable factors.

About the Speaker

Marguerite Shapalis

Camber
Quality Manager

Ms. Marguerite Shapalis is the Quality Manager for the Government Solutions Group of Camber Corporation (formerly PEC Solutions, Nortel Government Solutions and Avaya Government Solutions). She has spent the last 14 years as a quality / process improvement manager responsible for the management of Camber’s Quality Assurance program to ensure quality deliverables and high customer satisfaction for their government clients.

During this time Ms. Shapalis has successfully prepared the organization for multiple CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraisals, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO 20000 certifications. She oversees and ensures organizational compliance to these best practice standards through a comprehensive program of process audits, metrics analysis and training. Ms. Shapalis is also a trained Black Belt and has led several Lean Six Sigma projects to streamline various business processes. Prior to her quality work, Marguerite was a marketing communications manager, writer and trainer for a variety of commercial organizations throughout the Northeast.
