About the Seminar

This seminar will teach nine disciplined techniques for boosting the performance of IT project portfolios dramatically. It focuses on three primary drivers of project portfolio performance:

1) Maximal-impact Project Selection™—picking the highest-impact projects possible.

2) Maximum throughput of project completions—getting as many projects done as possible, within resource constraints.

3) Optimal portfolio reliability—delivering as many projects within plan as is optimal for the organization’s risk tolerance and resource levels.

The nine techniques are distilled from the most effective components of Critical Chain, Agile, and Lean, and blended harmoniously into a single, integrated project portfolio management (PPM) approach called ACCLAIM™. This approach touches upon all five PMI-specified PPM knowledge areas, as defined in PMI’s Standard for Portfolio Management (3rd edition, December 2013).

All registered seminar participants will also receive a free copy of the instructor’s newly released book, The CIO’s Guide to Breakthrough Project Portfolio Performance.
