About the Seminar

Recent research has shown that mature, high-performing PMOs deliver value to their organizations – and that value is rarely questioned by executives. What’s their secret? In part, it lies in the way successful PMOs measure performance – and that means not only project performance but also the job performance of project managers as well as the organizational performance indicators that can be affected by projects, programs, and the PMO. Based on the latest research on PMO trends and best practices, and drawing real-world examples from past PMO of the Year Award winners and finalists, this class will offer:
  • An overview of the project and program performance measurement role of the PMO with suggested best-practice metrics and measures
  • Discussion of baselining and developing project manager competence, with case studies from PM College research as well as the PMO of the Year files
  • A guide to matching PMO initiatives to key organizational performance measures to create a fact-based value proposition for the enterprise PMO.
