About the Presentation

Does your organization lack visibility into critical information? Are you challenged with monitoring too much data that’s not mapped to your key strategic objectives? Are you fuzzy on the difference between a leading and lagging indicator and what’s the value of tracking each type? Are you challenged with designing a dash board that your users love to access?

If these challenges sound familiar to your environment, the CIO Dashboard presentation will discuss and review these challenges in depth and will cover industry best practices that can be implemented to address your Dash Board requirements.

During this presentation we will review:

  • Basic development consideration for a CIO dashboard
  • Understanding which measures are critical for your organization to watch
  • Mapping performance against a set of business goals
  • Building an integrated dashboard to enable the monitoring of  key company metrics
  • Tracking KPIs to a single process using a single metric and establish a target for each metric
  • Understanding how implementing the drill down capabilities will enhance user engagement

Join Edwards Project Solutions (EdwPS) Director of Enterprise Project Management Solutions, Fletcher Hearns, at this meeting for an overview of these issues and the solutions that will lead to informed decision-making. The CIO Dashboard session discussion will include the adoption of industry best practices and the education of executive teams on the importance of Business Intelligence and Dash boarding practices, as well as the implementation of BI governance processes to enable consistent reviews and faster decision making. We can’t solve all of your CIO Dashboard and BI Governance concerns in a 45-minute presentation,  but we can give you an introduction that will allow you to leave the discussion better prepared to recognize how a CIO Dashboard and BI governance solutions can improve your organization.
