About the Program

Recent studies suggest 80% of a project's success is determined by how it starts. While project chartering is not foreign to the PM community, Agile Project Chartering requires a unique skill set.

Agile Charting relies on collaboration and results; it garners on more stakeholder buy-in and fosters better alignment amoung team members. It is a tool that can ensure a project starts with a solid foundation built on common understanding and designed for success.

In this session, Dr. Ahmed Sidky, EVP of Santeon Group, will explore a variety of tools and techniques for conducting effective Agile projects and team charters. He will exhibit why effective agile chartering answers basic questions like; What is the project's goal? What are its most important aspects? Whose problem are we solving? With an aligned team and increased buy-in, a project will be more successful.

About the PM Industry Insights

PM Industry Insights is PMIWDC's workshop series that addresses the practical aspects of Project Management.

These sessions are to provide you with insights on what is going on in the local industry so you can learn from it. This discussion-based session will include presentations on tools, industry panels, interviews with industry experts, workshops, etc. The target presenters will be individuals from PMO’s, university professors, consultants, etc.

Both PM Industry Insights and the monthly dinner meeting are worth 1 Professional Development Unit (PDU) each to certified PMPs. Continued certification as a PMP requires the accumulation of these valuable credits and we are pleased to offer this opportunity to obtain both the important training and the educational credit associated with it.
