This presentation will focus on the traits and characteristics of a prospective Project Manager, including business and technical acumen and problem solving skills. It will additionally include the process by which we go about growing and hiring Project Managers. Whether you are looking for a PM or a PM looking to be found, this presentation will be of interest to you.

About the Speaker
Roy L. Carter
Prior to joining Artel, LLC in October 2011, Mr. Roy Carter was President of Civilian Services Sector at Avaya Government Solutions, Inc. (formerly Nortel Government Solutions), a position he held from 2006 thru 2010. Prior to its acquisition, Mr. Carter served as a Vice President of PEC Solutions, Inc. Earlier in his career Mr. Carter spent 24 years as a Marine Infantry Officer, was CIO of a federal agency, and worked for the Secretary and Under Secretary of the Navy.
From 1999 thru 2008, Mr. Carter was a member of the Board of Directors of Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies, serving as its Chairman from 2005 thru 2007. Mr. Carter hold a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
