About the Presentation

The Art of Project Communication

In keeping with our communication theme, this presentation will address getting to the point quickly when presenting to sponsors (concise presentations with the details in the appendix), informing management of the purpose of your presentation (informational, actions/decisions required, etc.), courageous conversation, and venues to improve communication skill (Toastmasters, etc.).

About the Speaker

Mr. Dave Montagne

Mr. Dave Montagne currently manages a team of Project Managers, along with a team of Project Support and Portfolio Management staff at Booz, Allen, Hamilton.  He has managed many different teams of Project Managers and technical staff, and has personally managed dozens of projects and programs at five companies.  While at Teleglobe, Mr. Montagne led a group of international Project Manages with a portfolio of projects worth over $200M.  He was a Program Manager for Equant’s largest customer and supported major programs associated with revenue assurance opportunities and cost savings worth over $20M in 2005.

Mr. Montagne received his Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University in 1999, and his Certified Business Manager and Project Management Professional certifications in 2002.  He has served as an adjunct instructor at Booz Allen, Hamilton, spoken at PMI events, and presented at the Strategy and Projects Summit in Boston last May.  Mr. Montagne has also completed certification training in Six Sigma and ITIL.
