The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Information Technology Division (ITD) partnered with the Project Management Institute Washington D.C. Chapter to establish the USMS Community to promote project management, leadership, organizational skills, and management capabilities in the agency.  This establishment allows the agency to provide free professional development opportunities to its employees.

The luncheons are held quarterly in July, October, January, and April.
