Scholarship Programs

PMIWDC provides a variety of scholarships for both degree-track and professional development courses throughout the DC area. The PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) administers PMIWDC's scholarship program.

About the PMI Educational Foundation

The PMI Educational Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Project Management Institute (PMI®). PMIEF is an autonomous, non-profit, charitable organization whose goal is to build better futures with project management and create sustainable, life skill project management programs which will benefit a global society.

UMT - PMIWDC Academic Scholarship Winner: Subhash Tuladhar

The PMI Washington, DC Chapter is please to announce that Mr. Subhash Tuladhar is the winner of the UMT-PMIWDC 2007 Academic Scholarship. Mr. Tuladhar, currently a Scheduling Engineer for Quality Planning Solutions LLC, is continuing his project management education at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in Arlington, Virginia. Mr. Tuladhar is a PMI member and holds the PMP certification.

George Patton Memorial Scholarship Program - Spring Award


The PMIWDC George Patton Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship intended to assist PMIWDC chapter members in funding continuing education coursework. The scholarship awards a maximum of $2,000 to one or more applicants, twice per year. If you would like to apply for this scholarship, please follow the instructions below. If you would like assistance in funding academic courseword at a college or university, please apply for the PMIWDC Academic Scholarship instead.
