Meet Your Volunteer - Anthony Rosati

Anthony Rosati

An Information Technology professional since 1995, Tony currently serves as Director of the Data Integration and Dissemination Division of the U.S Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration, Office of Coal, Nuclear, Electric and Alternate Fuels. Tony’s division collects and publishes vital statistical data associated with the production and consumption of petroleum, natural gas, electricity, coal, nuclear, and renewable/alternative energy sources.

A self avowed extrovert and an outspoken person Tony has been involved with PMIWDC since 2003, earning his PMP credential in 2005. He currently volunteers as chair of the Speakers Database Committee which maintains and supports the Speakers Database SharePoint web site, where his IT experience and skills are helping drive the effort to eventually store all data related to chapter luncheon and dinner venues; and speaker bios, topics and schedules.

Tony’s interest outside of work and his volunteerism include keeping his expectant wife happy (she is due in late January), reading science fiction, taking in the movies, discussing history and politics, and satisfying a mild "travel bug". Tony also finds his two cats (one from Brazil, where his wife is from) and their adorable Pug to be an endless source of amusement.
