About the Program

Maximizing your PDUs

You’re a PMP.  Maybe you’ve even been one for almost three years, which means you’re about to face the re-certification deadline.  Or you’re just getting started and have several years to go before you recertify.  Mark Buchholz will review the PMP re-certification requirements and discuss how you can maximize your opportunities.  We’ll discuss how to get the most out of employment, training, conferences and volunteering opportunities to get the PDU you need well within the three year window set by PMI.

About the Speaker

Mark Buchholz is a PMP with over 19 years in the project management field.  He has been a PMP since 2002 and recently recertified for the second time.  He is currently a Sr. Consultant for Acquisition Solutions, Inc supporting several DOD clients on consulting engagements.  He is also the lead instructor for his company’s “Effective Integrated Project Planning and Scheduling” course.  Mr. Buchholz has been a presenter at EVM World 2007, the 2006 Integrated Project Management Conference, the PMI-WDC Fall 2007 Knowledge Exchange and the Skyline-Baileys Crossroads PMI-WDC lunch meeting.  Mr. Buchholz is the co-chair of the Skyline-Baileys Crossroads lunch meeting for PMI-WDC.  Mr. Buchholz is also an Education Track Coordinator for the PMI College of Performance Measurement.  Mr. Buchholz has been a Project Manager for numerous IT infrastructure and systems projects in the DC area, nationwide, and internationally.

About Skyline Luncheons

  • All Skyline luncheons are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. They begin at 11:30am with a 30 minute unstructured networking session. At Noon, after a short introduction and after we’ve dealt with some administrative matters, the presentation begins. The luncheons end promptly at 1pm.
  • Join our Yahoo Group by sending an email with your name, and organization to: SkylineLuncheonPMIWDC-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. On our list we provide copies of past presentations, directions to our lunch location in Baileys Crossroads, and two email reminders per month.
  • Our Yahoo Group SkylineLuncheonPMIWDC@yahoogroups.com is an announcement-only type list not used for general email. So you will only receive a limited amount of email and only from the moderators, who are the co-Chairs of the Skyline Baileys Crossroads Lunch meeting, Mark Buchholz and William Bigler.
