Educational Alliance Agreement with George Washington University
PMIWDC is pleased to announce the establishment of an alliance with George Washington University (GWU) and its Project Management Student Association. The new linkage is aimed at fostering greater collaboration between the organizations toward the advancement of the discipline of project management and the creation of opportunities between PMIWDC members and the students and faculty of GWU for mutual understanding, networking, and knowledge exchange. PMIWDC’s College Outreach Committee and the PMSA will take the lead in developing the new relationship and have already begun a program of activities including: PMIWDC guest speakers at PMSA meetings, hosting of GWU students at PMIWDC monthly dinner meetings, and promotion of discounted student memberships in the PMIWDC chapter for GWU students. Future plans include PMIWDC participation in GWU career fairs, promotion of internship opportunities, and collaboration on project management research topics.
