Community Outreach

The Community Outreach Program targets non-profit organizations located within the PMIWDC footprint that the chapter can support. Examples of programs that Community Outreach supports include:

• Educational programs of a local community organization with an interest in promoting project and/or program management best practices
• Scholarships for disadvantaged individuals who seek careers in project management
• PMI worldwide community organizations that are engaged in humanitarian outreach activities and need funds and volunteer services
• Local humanitarian organizations that need Chapter resources and project management expertise to maximize critical resources for relief and development
• Non-profit organizational activities that offer an opportunity for the Chapter to promote its agenda, provide recognition for its members and promote mutual good will.
