Professional Development Committee Actitivities
Chapter Events
The Washington DC Chapter of PMI hosts a dinner the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner VA. Both members and non members are invited to listen to the monthly presentation from our speakers over dinner, while taking advantage of the opportunity to network with other project management professionals in the Washington DC area. These sessions also include a free PM Tools session immediately before the meeting.
Knowledge Exchange Forum (KXF)

About the KXF:
The key element of the KXF format is the peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge and experience between members of the project management community, guided by practical experiences of both the presenters and attendees. We think you will find the KXF to be unlike any other educational experience. Led by PMs for PMs, All are peers and learners, Expertise is not a prerequisite for sharing your experience and ideas with other PMs.Presenters may:
- Present a problem they have experienced
- Offer perspectives on a new technique they have implemented
- Present a paper they intend to publish
- Share lessons learned from a project or a tool
