About the Chapter to Chapter Program

The PMIWDC Chapter-To-Chapter program is focused on establishing and maintaining a series of relationships between our Chapter and other chapters outside of the United States. These relationships are built to be mutually beneficial and typically include exchanging speakers, exchanging members and sharing information.

We seek value from this program by fostering the development of relationships that advance the project management profession and by engaging and energizing our Chapter membership.

It’s Tough Out There!

How do you stay successful in ever changing political and economic turmoil?

It is a fact that in the current economy, there is a stronger need for individuals who know how to effectively lead organizations in the balancing of ever‐changing schedules, decreasing budgets and resource pools, and unprecedented demanding business risks.  Project Managers are, in fact those leaders best suited to deal with these challenges.

On November 6, 2008, the Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIWDC) will host International Project Management Day seminar and awards event. The event, dedicated to the profession that is having an ever‐increasing impact to the success of organizations, has an appropriate 2008 theme of "Managing through Changing Political and Economic Times."

Join us as we learn how to manage effectively through sudden political and economic changes from nationally recognized PM leaders Lee Lambert and Carl Pritchard.  You'll hear how a PM from the Army Corps of Engineers applied lessons learned from the Katrina aftermath. But the best part -you'll get to see one of your colleagues accept the PM of the Year awardRegistration is now open.

  • 3 PDUS for $45 (PMI Member Rate)
  • Nationally Recognized PM Leaders  and Engaging Speakers Lee Lambert and Carl Pritchard
  • First Hand Lesson Learned from a PM in the Trenches of Hurricane Katrina
