PMIWDC International PM Day 2006
On Thursday, November 2, 2006, over 200 industry and government attendees gathered at the Arlington, VA office complex of sponsor Verizon Business to celebrate International PM Day 2006. After an early 8:30 am breakfast start, everyone settled down to listen, ask questions, and network with their peers from 9:00 am till noon. Andrew Anderson, President of the PMIWDC chapter, welcomed everyone and conveyed to them the benefits of participating in the activities of the PMIWDC chapter.
The following list of speakers then began to provide insight to the rapid growth of project management worldwide and the various benefits their respective companies and agencies have seen from adoption of the practices and executive support for this profession:
