ITIL Certification Overview
Are you confused on the difference between ITIL Version 3 Certifications and the Overall ITIL Certification path? Brian Flora, an IT industry expert and certified ITIL Expert from Beyond20, will discuss the new ITIL Version 3 courses, explain what is happening with the Version 2 Certifications and how to upgrade to Version 3. Mr. Flora will also explore the benefits of certification and discuss what employers are looking for. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions with them to answered by the expert.About the Speaker
Mr. Brian Flora, ITIL V3
As a pioneer in internet based commerce, Mr. Brian Flora began
his career in IT by founding Cyclepath.com in 1995 while attending
college at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. As one of
the first eCommerce retail businesses, Cyclepath sold bicycles and
equipment online and shipped to a global customer base.
Mr. Flora later went on to work for other internet startups,
including GoDaddy.com. As System Architect and eventual IT
Director, he managed the delivery of 24x7 high availability mission
critical IT services during GoDaddy’s phenomenal growth from 28
employees to over 2000 in less than 4 years.
In 2006, Mr. Flora co-founded Beyond20 and has since helped
hundreds of organizations across industries and sectors manage complex
infrastructure through effective processes. He is a frequent
columnist for CIO magazine as well as a popular speaker and
blogger. Mr. Flora will be a featured speaker at the ITSMF
National Conference in September 2010 where he will deliver a session
on IT Service Strategy entitled “Results Based Management: Building a
Balanced Scorecard that Work”.
Mr. Flora is a certified ITIL V3 Expert, Certified Scrum
Master, ISO/IEC 20000, and ISEB accredited Master ITSM
Instructor. He has trained hundreds of students in ITIL,
ISO/IEC 20000 and ITSM and has a first time exam pass rate in excess of
99%.
