About the Presentation
Bridging the Gap between Business Vision, Project Initiation and Execution
This presentation will focus on the purpose, process and payoff of the Business Engagement Office (BEO). The goal of the BEO is to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and increase revenue for the business. This can be accomplished by getting the business to concentrate on selling their core products and services in an effort to increase their sales and production. The BEO must also bridge the gap between internal Line of Businesses (LOBs) and your internal and external customers. Three questions should be asked for every opportunity or project:
- What is the purpose of the project?
- What is the process you will be using?
- What will your payoff be?
There is only one reason a company of business fails -- not because they run out of money, but because the business did not sell enough products. The sole goal of the BEO is to help eliminate this risk.
