About the Program:

The Leader in the Mirror

Although the fundamentals of leadership have remained the same for eons, the demands upon leaders have changed. Today, people expect their jobs to be challenging, interesting and engaging. The leaders of successful organizations know this, and they know how to keep their employees challenged, interested, and engaged. They recognize that their success is not solely the result of how well they perform, but how well their employees perform, so they invest their time and energy in helping others succeed.

During Ron’s Presidency, PMIWDC earned more awards for excellence from PMI than any chapter in the world, including Chapter of the Year, and Ron is the only person in the 30-year history of the Chapter to have been named PMI’s Leader of the Year. In this presentation he shares five simple leadership techniques that have been proven to work - not just with employees, but with volunteers as well. Apply these techniques and you just might become the kind of leader you would be honored to follow.
