Project Portfoilio Management is all the buzz, but what does it REALLY mean to organizations?
This session will provide business and project management/IT leaders with an overview of the Project Portfolio Management lifecycle, business processes, and introduces how Project Portfolio Management can lower costs, enhance time-to-market for new products and services, and drive better top-down investment decision making across projects and large program-driven organizations.
Specific return on investment (ROI) metrics and client case studies will be detailed in this overview.
About the Speaker
Rob Hirschmann
Mr. Rob
Hirschmann has a history of driving successful project and portfolio
management initiatives within large clients, combining process,
technology expertise, and knowledge transfer.
As Corporate Vice President of Projility, Mr. Hirschmann has worked with enterprise and public sector clients ranging from the US Department of Homeland Security, National Institute for Health, Orbital Sciences Corporation, and Booz Allen Hamilton to help drive successful project portfolio management solutions.
Previously, Mr. Hirschmann served as a project management specialist with Microsoft, where he was responsible for working with some of the largest Defense contractors and commercial customers to successfully plan and deploy Microsoft’s suite of enterprise project management solutions to enhance project management capabilities and business processes.
