About the Program

Neat Solution for the EVM Schedule Problem

Earned Value Management (EVM) provides Project Managers an important tool to plan and control project cost and schedule performance. The financially based indicators can provide a good estimate of final project costs as early as the 17% project completion point.

Since EVM metrics are financially ($) based, they are not so effective conveying schedule status and projecting completion date. However, with NO modification to EVM systems one can extend current EVM data to effectively portray and communicate schedule status to your customers. The presentation focuses on the "earned schedule" concept.
