About the Program

Bringing Your “A” Game:
Authentic Leadership in Project Management

Even though your title is project manager, how you lead your project team can make the difference between easy success and a struggle to deliver against the project plan.  Management is tactical and more of a science; leadership is strategic and more of an art.

As with all art forms, each individual brings his or her own unique strengths to the practice.  In this presentation, we will explore authenticity in leadership by examining what each of us brings to the role of project manager.  We are each born with certain aspects – brain style, gender, and communication preferences – and develop them in a cultural context – our country of origin, our generation, and our workplace.

Come hear how the latest research in these areas can help us effectively weave these differences into the fabric of successful project teams.
