About the Presentation

Hiring the Project Management

Mr. Roy Carter, President of Nortel Government Solutions Civilian Services Sector, will discuss how Project and Program Managers are selected. Additionally, insight will be provided on the process recruiters use to assist Senior Executives who make these critical hiring decisions.

About the Speaker

Roy Carter

Prior to joining Nortel Government Solutions, Mr. Carter served over 30 years in the public sector including serving as Chief Information Officer of the US Courts. In his current position as President of the Civilian Services Sector, Nortel Government Solutions, Mr. Carter has led the development of several innovative business solutions to include enterprise-wide mission critical software solutions, large-scale enterprise intranets, information assurance, PKI security solutions, complex multi-system integration engineering, and mission specific solutions for the US intelligence community. The division serves both Federal and State agencies.

Mr. Carter is a retired Marine officer. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Systems Engineering and holds a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
