About the Program

Planning to Communicate Solving the Situational Awareness Challenge

Program communication means many things to many people.  Done well, communication contributes to program success; done poorly, communication (or the lack of it) impedes program success.  Through this light-hearted lecture, Mr. Knapp will lead the group through the decision-making process that leads to a solid communications plan.

The group will reflect on their stakeholders needs, examine communications strategies, and review tools such as scorecards, matrices, networks, and feedback loops.  Attendees will expand their understanding of PMI/PMBOK communication practices and processes.

By the end of the lecture, participants will have the information they will need to draft their organization’s or program’s communication plan and establish good communications practices.
