About the Programs
EVM Planning and Control in the Construction Industry
EVM is vitally important to the US defense industry, as well as the construction industry throughout the world. But, there are significant differences between how EVM is implementated across different projects. This presentation provides a overview and sample methods of how EVM is used in the construction industry for the project planning and control.
Supervised Credits to Projects to Lower Risks
Earned Value is a tool that allows Financial Investors to lower their investment risks by giving financial managers the ability to gauge the performance of their project investments and make funding decisions through out the life cycle of their investments. This presentation will show the bases for using EVM as a tool for financial managers.
About the Presenter
Jack Kersbergen has spent almost half of his career in Earned Value in the Aerospace and Defense Industry and the last 10 years in Engineering and Construction.
He has also been a successful private consultant for Earned Value to the US Navy and private industry. He is currently with Zachry Construction Corporation in the electric power generation industry. His previous position was with Raytheon Engineers and Constructors on the United States Antarctic Program for the National Science Foundation constructing the new South Pole Station in Antarctica. Jack often speaks at the IPM and EVM World Conference in DC and in FL.
Fernando Roque works
as a consultant Cost and Financial Engineering projects for PARM AG
(www.parm.com) which is a Swiss company based in St Gallen working in
Latinamerica. He designs financial and risk models for
Project Management using Earned Value. He lead the Cost Engineering
Software produced by PARM for use in Latinamerica. He has been a
presenter in multiple occasions at the PMI-CPM Northamerica Global
Conferences in the use of Earned Value in projects.
