Envoy Report of trip to the PMI Global Asian Pacific Conference

PMIWDC was represented in the PMI Global Asian Pacific by our envoy Donald Weber Jr, PMP.

Mr. Weber successfully completed this assignment and brought back many insights that he will share, including:

  • Knowledge provided during the presentations that is relevant to our membership.
  • Issues and concerns being raised during the conference which indicates trends in the PMI Membership which may affect PMI WDC in the future.
  • New networking connections in multiple countries not limited to Asia, which will enrich our network opportunities outside the DC area.

In this webinar, Mr. Weber to present his findings and provide an avenue for knowledge transfer.'

About the Presenter

Don Weber was born in Washington DC; and raised and educated in the Northern VA area. His professional career has provided numerous adventures while working for the US Navy, McDonnell Douglas, several small businesses, academia, as an USA-based independent management consultant, and in international consulting with Headstrong (A James Martin Company).

Don is a “straight shooter” and has been known to take on the “clean-up” jobs that most people avoid. His openness to such assignments, has rewarded him with an extensive experience and understanding of global marketplaces and cultural differences while working with clients in Australia, China, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Tanzania, Thailand, United Kingdom, and the USA. Don’s personal commitment is to help his clients and his company to jointly prosper through a high quality, well-managed and focused delivery approach.

Don has a M.S. degree in Systems Management - Information Systems, from the Institute of Safety & Systems Management at the University of Southern California, and he has been a PMP and member of the PMI Washington DC Chapter since 2004.
