About the Program

Does Scope Constrain Best Practice?

To extend the insights from his recent Sigma article, Bob Vorthman will raise awareness in his presentation of the many responsibilities a program office may propose to lead, manage or govern.  Since early choices set the stage for planning and execution, and decisions are rushed when a crisis is looming, or the first program office is being chartered next week, could a framework jump start the need for program management, integrated processes, and success with Information Technology projects? Attendees should learn whether this question has a yes or no answer.

About the Speaker

Bob Vorthman is a principal engineer at Noblis where his interests include systems thinking, government acquisition, and coordinating business, project, and technical processes to achieve success.
