About the Speaker
Fred Manzer combines practical experience with his extensive knowledge of theory to address customer learning needs in their environment and using their terminology. As a government employee and commercial consultant he provided training and project management support for major US defense contractors and US Government agencies acquiring major systems.
As the Director of Project Management at Strategy Bridge International creates and teaches project management and systems engineering courses for government and commercial customers. These courses include basic through graduate level training with both traditional and student driven formats. He recently completed guiding a defense contractor through EVMS compliance.
In four years as a trainer and consultant at Center for Systems Management created and taught targeted systems engineering courses addressing requirements, architecture, testing, and support disciplines. Developed and taught comprehensive project management courses covering all aspects of the discipline using the PMBOK and agency policy as references.
In
three years as a member of the National Reconnaissance Office
Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE) project and acquisition
management team he provided training and direct support to government
project teams starting new projects. Duties included direct
program support for IBR and system application assessments.
