About the Presentation

In this discussion, Carl Pritchard focuses on the steps we can take to integrate the notion of consultancy with the expectations of our current employers. He'll examine some of the infrastructure that needs to be set in place before we set out on our own.

Once established, he'll also take a look at the critical success factors for consultants and what they need to consider to create an environment that is challenging, busy and relatively recession-proof. He'll offer five specific behaviors to test yourself on your ability to sell yourself and build value into your consulting practice. And he'll provide insights on how to know when you're ready to strike out on your own. And even if you never plan to leave your current position, his insights provide perspective on how to become the most valuable employee you can be.
