Mark completed his Bachelor's and Master's of Education at the University of Miami, his Ph.D. at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, and his MBA at UMW’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies. He is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) as well as several highly-respected multi-rater leadership and organizational assessment tools, including the Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks® and Executive Dimensions®. Prior to joining the UMW faculty, Mark served as a Senior Consultant/State Training Manager with the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management’s Office of Human Resources and Organization Development. Mark was the Director of Hay Management Consultants' Training and Human Resource Development Directorate in the firm’s Arlington, Virginia Office. In this capacity, he designed and managed client projects that applied human resource development expertise to organizational improvement programs. He was an Assistant Professor at The George Washington University School of Education and Human Development where he taught in the graduate Human Resource Development Program.  Mark has served as a consultant to The U.S. Office of Personnel Management's Federal Executive Institute for 20 years.
